Green Policy
Manufactured from carefully selected domestic and imported species, Harris Wood is one of the most environmentally sound flooring options available today. Our floors are made only from timber harvested from sustained forests that are managed through strict preservation and replenishment programs. Harris Wood is Chain of Custody Certified by the International Forest Stewardship Council to handle FSC Certified wood.
The ecological benefits of real wood floors are undeniable. Our products are durable, hypo-allergenic, and biodegradable. There are no toxic wastes generated during production. Hardwood floors can be refinished rather than replaced, preserving them for generations. Unlike most other material choices for flooring, wood is a natural and renewable resource, and the ultimate environmentally-friendly building material.
Environmental Commitment
Harris Wood is commited to the environment and proud to be certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
