Birch is typically straight-grained with a fine uniform texture. It is characterized by a plain and often curly or wavy pattern.  Birch is a fairly heavy and strong wood and is extensively used for furniture, millwork and paneling, doors, kitchen cabinets and flooring.  These three rich colors will draw attention in any room.
